Bouley died of a heart attack Monday at his home in Kent, Connecticut, according to Lisa Queen, his literary agent. Other restaurants he worked in include Danube, Bouley Bakery, Upstairs at Bouley, Bouley at Home, Secession and Brushstroke, a collaborative effort with the Tsuji Culinary Institute in Osaka, Japan. Danube and Bouley Bakery each earned two Michelin stars.
